Turkiye rescues 35 immigrants off Mugla coast, SE Turkiye

The Turkish Coast Guard Command rescued 35 illegal immigrants off the coast of Mugla, southwest Turkiye, on Saturday.

Authorities sent rescue boats after reports on the presence of immigrants on three rubber boats pushed by the Greek side into Turkish waters, the command said in a statement.

Moreover, the coast guard also arrested 37 immigrants on a rubber boat in the same state, it said, adding that it had taken the immigrants to the detention center in Mugla to take legal action.
