ABU DHABI, The UAE reiterates its commitment to support the people of Yemen, as well as keenness to restore security and stability in their country, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammad Al-Nahyan said Monday.
Sheikh Mohammad, also Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, made his remarks while holding talks with Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalek in the Emirati capital, official media reported.
He reaffirmed his country’s determination to continue supporting the Yemeni people as part of its principled approach to stand by all Arab people and causes, and maintain Arab national security, according to Emirati News Agency.
For his part, Abdulmalek commended Abu Dhabi’s historic and noble supportive stand by the Yemeni people as part of the Arab coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen.
The two top officials discussed latest updates and recent developments of the situations in Yemen, in addition to UAE’s humanitarian, development, economic, and security efforts to restore vital sectors in the war-torn Arab country such as health, educational, social, and public service.
