UK condemns Houthi rocket attack on Saudi airport

LONDON, The UK condemned on Thursday the recent rocket attack carried out be Houthi rebels on Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia.

“These assaults are utterly unacceptable,” said British Secretary of State for Middle East and North Africa Andrew Morrison in a press statement.

He urged restraint from all warring parties in Yemen and commit to the UN-led peace process.

The Saudi-led Joint Forces Command of Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Wednesday a Houthi-fired missile struck Abha International Airport and wounded 26 civilians of various nationalities.
