USPTO issues invention patent to two Kuwaiti researchers

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued Kuwaiti researchers from Kuwait University, Ammar Bahman and Nasser Al-Sayagh, a patent for their apparatus capable of describing the physical state of nanosuspensions in nano-liquids during dynamic effusion.

In a statement, the academic and researcher at the Office of Patents and Intellectual Property at Kuwait University, Ammar Bahman, said on Sunday that the importance of the invention lies in its participation in the modernization of systems currently used in Kuwait to produce energy and desalinate water.

For his part, the researcher Nasser Al-Sayagh, explained that the research continued for 15 years and made it possible to prove the capacity of nano-liquids to provide thermo-physical characteristics, affirming that these liquids arouse more and more the interest of researchers all over the world who try to integrate them in several disciplines.
