Voting in Turkey’s double-purpose polls end

Voting for presidential-parliamentary elections throughout Turkey ended at 00:17 p.m. (local time) on Sunday, the supreme election commission said in a statement.

Voters started heading to the polls at 00:08 in the morning. Ballots were cast in 180,065 boxes at the electoral centers nationwide.

Citizens queuing up outside the ballot stations after conclusion of the official duration for franchise practicing will be allowed to cast their votes after a count, the commission said.
