Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Friday reported seven new COVID-19 deaths, and 1,209 infections in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n
The Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that the total fatalities increased to 1,628, and the caseload to 282,981 since the beginning of the pandemic.<\/p>\n
He added that the total recoveries have reached 266,917 after 1,387 patients recovered from coronavirus today making the recovery rate 94.3 percent out of the conducted tests.<\/p>\n
Moreover, 14,436 patients in total are receiving health care, including 206 at intensive care units, he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours 9,604 tests were conducted, with infection rate 12.6 percent, making the total conducted tests 2,388,785, he added.<\/p>\n
Al-Sanad renewed his call on the public to maintain social distancing, and to abide with all health regulations that would help in stopping the virus spread. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
