– Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Tuesday declared 1,487 more infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours, pushing the caseload to 331,013.<\/P>
People who recovered from the virus pandemic hit 1,291 in the same period, taking the total recoveries to 312,850, Spokesman for the Ministry Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.<\/P>
The death toll from the virus climbed to 1,831 after registering three mortalities in the corresponding period, Al-Sanad stated.<\/P>
He noted that 16,332 patients are hospitalized, in addition to 185 cases at intensive care units.<\/P>
Total medical swabs has risen to 2.775 million after conducting 11,645 in 24 hours, he stated, indicating that the ratio between recoveries and swabs is 12.77 percent today.<\/P>
Al-Sanad renewed call for both citizens and residents to abide by health precautions and physical distancing, as well as avoid gatherings.<\/P>
He further urged the public to follow up official accounts of the ministry and the state’s bodies to be briefed on guidelines and recommendations in order to control the spread of the virus. <\/P>
