Against the backdrop of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Franco-Kuwaiti diplomatic ties, he said these relations are based on mutual “amity and transparency.” Bilateral trade surged to USD 1.13 billion last year despite the outbreak of the COVID pandemic, according to Kuwait’s ambassador to Paris Sami Al-Sulaiman, adding that Franco-Kuwaiti trade and investment deals date back to 1973.<\/P>
