Kuwait’s Ministry of Health (MoH) registered on Monday 6,063 additional COVID-19 cases over a 24-hour span, increasing the total number of infections to 545,717, while one fatality was recorded, raising the death toll to 2,497.<\/P>
There were 5,129 fresh recovery cases, increasing the total to 491,502 cured people so far, as recoveries represent 90.1 percent of the overall infections, MoH’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.<\/P>
Active cases amounted to 51,718 with 91 of them in intensive care units, and 480 patients at hospital wards, he said.<\/P>
Health authorities conducted 29,304 swab tests to a total of 6,913,124, which meant that 20.7 percent of swab tests performed in 24 hours were infections, he revealed.<\/P>
