– Secretary of Kuwait Shooting Club Obaid Al-Osaimi said on Tuesday the national team would take part in the third Gulf sports tournament due to kick off in Kuwait on Friday.<\/P>
Al-Osaimi said in a statement to journalists that 28 Kuwaiti shooters would partake in the Olympic competitions, due at the Olympic Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Stadium.<\/P>
The participating shooting champions are Mansour Al-Rashidi, Abdulaziz Al-Faihan, Abdullah Al-Rashidi, Abdulaziz Al-Saad, Mohammad Al-Daihani, Khaled Al-Mudhaf, Talal Al-Rashidi, Abdulrahman Al-Faihan, Nasser Al-Muqalled and Ahmad Al-Daihani (in skete and trap categories).<\/P>
The shooting team is already undergoing intensive training, Al-Osaimi said, adding that the Omani team was expected to arrive in Kuwait later today.<\/P>
The club ranges have been prepared to hold the five-day competitions due on May 15, Al-Osaimi said, predicting strong competitions among the shooters, considering high skills of the participants from the other Gulf countries.<\/P>
The Gulf competitions will be in handball, volleyball, basketball, futsal (indoor soccer), swimming, track and field, karate, judo, fencing, tennis, biking, hockey, padel and some electronic games.<\/P>
Women athletes are scheduled to take part in futsal, biking, track and filed, tennis table, basketball, electronic games and padel’s competitions.<\/P>
