Bahrain continued in the top post in day four of the ongoing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) games Thursday, having bagged 40 medals, followed by host-nation Kuwait’s 47 medals, but in second place due to one silver medal difference for the Kingdom.<\/p>\n
Bahrain clinched so far 17 gold, 15 silver, and 8 bronze medals, while Kuwait has 17 gold, 14 silver, and 16 bronze medals.<\/p>\n
Qatar trails in third with 33 medals, 11 gold, 13 silver, and 9 bronze medals.<\/p>\n
Oman after great shooting day earlier today came in the fourth place with a total of 22 medals, 9 gold, 4 silver, and 9 bronze.<\/p>\n
The GCC games, which feature an array of sports including futsal, handball, Padel, and basketball, run until May 31. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
