Minister of Social Affairs and Women and Children’s Affairs, head of the supreme council for disability affairs Eng. Mai Al-Baghli affirmed that disabled people play an important role in society, underlining the need to activate the articles of law 10\/2010 on the rights of people with disability.<\/p>\n
Her remarks came in a press statement on the sidelines of the (I’m talented 3) event, as part of the International Day of Disabled Persons, organized with the presence of acting director general of the Public Authority for Disability Affairs Hanadi Al-Mubailish, in cooperation with the Avenues mall on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Kuwait is continuously developing programs to provide special needs people with a better life and protect their rights, said the minister.<\/p>\n
On her part, Al-Mubailish told KUNA that the authority believes that such events and conferences play an important role in resolving the issues facing disabled people.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
