– Kuwait Ambassador to Qatar Khaled Al-Mutairi on Sunday praised “the wonderful, professional, and highly efficient” organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.<\/p>\n
In a statement to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Mutairi appreciated the “relentless” efforts made by the Qatari government since FIFA chose Doha to host the World Cup, of which it was reflected in the high quality and accuracy of the organization.<\/p>\n
He said that the State of Kuwait “leadership, government and people” provided all the support and assistance to Qatar for the success of the global event, the first of its kind to be held in the Arab World.<\/p>\n
Ambassador Al-Mutairi explained that the Ministry of Interior represented by the Explosives Department from the Special Forces, and the General Fire Department participated at the government level in organizing and securing the Qatar World Cup 2022.<\/p>\n
” Kuwaiti volunteers are working wonderfully in organizing World Cup by facilitating the entry and exit of the masses and providing first aid”, he added, stressing Kuwait’s kenness to put all its capabilities to make this great global sports gathering a success.<\/p>\n
Regarding the entry of vehicles of citizens and residents of the GCC countries into Qatar, Al-Mutairi called on everyone to abide by the Qatari instructions, and obtain a previous “acceptable” permit from the Qatari authorities to enter the country.<\/p>\n
He stressed that the Kuwaiti embassy is working in turn to facilitate procedures for the entry, exit of citizens, and assist them while they are in Doha.<\/p>\n
He said that Kuwait is keen to enhance cooperation with Qatar and exchange experiences with it to take advantage of the great potentials that it has now possessed in several aspects after hosting such global event<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
