The Central Agency for Illegal Residents said it had issued 2,309 driving licenses for illegal residents in 2021.

In a statement to KUNA on Saturday, the agency’s acting assistant secretary general for technical affairs and information Abdullah Al-Farhan said that the agency had also renewed 26,472 licenses in 2021.

Issuing driving licenses follows the Cabinet decree number 409/2011 on providing facilitation for illegal residents.
