A 4.3-magnitude earthquake hits the Gulf of Aqaba

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Gulf of Aqaba, northeast of Sharm El-Sheikh.

According to the Egyptian National Seismological Network of the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, the earthquake occurred 111 km north of Sharm El-Sheikh, at 22:05 local time.
