A large fire broke out in the ward of premature babies in Al-Aziziya General Hospital, north of Wasit.
The Director of Civil Defense in Wasit, Brigadier General Haider Shaker, told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The fire was controlled and prevented from spreading to other hospital corridors, without causing any casualties.
He added: “The cause of the fire will be determined by a forensic expert.”/ End
