The Basra Police arrested a suspect for assaulting the Rescue Police Detachment while on duty.

The Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a statement that the Imam Ali Police Station detachments managed to arrest a suspect who assaulted a Rescue Police detachment while on duty and managed to escape from the scene.

It added, after investigating and collecting information, the accused was found, raided and arrested, and legal measures were taken against him and he was referred to the judiciary.
