Agility reports KD 12.8 mln net profit of Q1 ’22

Kuwait’s Agility company, a leader in supply chain services, infrastructure and innovation, announced a net profit of KD 12.8 million (around USD 41.6 million) for the first quarter of 2022, with an increase of one percent of the same period for 2021.

The share profit reached 6.07 fils for the first quarter of the current year, compared to 6.01 fils per share of the same period of last year, Vice Chairman Tarek Sultan said in a press release on Sunday.

The profits before interest and taxes reached KD 34 million (around USD 110.5 million) for the first quarter of 2022, with an increase of 71.7 percent of 2021, when the company income reached KD 132.1 (around USD 429.4 million), with an increase of 22.3 percent, he added.

The company is working to expand its investment portfolio during the upcoming period through investment in companies working in high growth sectors, he affirmed.

Agility was founded back in 1979, and listed in Kuwait Bourse in 1984. It works in in equipping, setting up, managing and leasing warehouses.
