Al-Araji Meets in New York with the Permanent Representative of the UAE to the UN Security Council

The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, met in New York, today, Wednesday, the permanent representative of the United Arab Emirates to the UN Security Council, and the chair of the Committee (1373) to combat terrorism, Lana Nusseibeh.

The chancellery stated in a statement: “During the meeting, they discussed the overall political and security situation at the regional and international levels, as well as discussing the continued support of the international community for Iraq in the field of combating terrorism, and assistance in humanitarian aspects.”

Al-Araji expressed Iraq’s pride in all the brothers and friends who stood with Iraq in its war against terrorism, stressing the need to give the utmost importance to the Syrian al-Hol camp file, and to help end and close this file.
