Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, met with Sheikh Mishaan al-Khazraji, head of the Sunni Endowment Office, stressing the importance of uniting ranks in the face of the challenges facing the Islamic community, praising the step of the Sunni Endowment Office in its contribution to serving the visitors of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as it represented an important scene to embody Iraqi unity.

Al-Hakim stressed, according to a statement from his office, the importance of developing and modernizing religious discourse in line with the challenges of this stage, by intensifying programs and activities of preaching and religious and social guidance, especially those directed to young people, stressing the use of modern technology in this regard as it is the closest and most effective.

He called for religious institutions to be kept away from the normal political conflict, and for Iraq and its people to have religious discourse without siding with one side here or there.
