First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi chaired today, Thursday, a new meeting of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, and the head of the committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, and all its members, to complete the discussion of the draft federal budget law for the fiscal years ( 2023, 2024, 2025), and put the final touches on its clauses in preparation for its approval.

Al-Mandalawi confirmed that during the meeting, the legal texts of the draft law were scrutinized, and voting was completed on most of the items contained in it, expressing the keenness of the Council Presidency and the Finance Committee to expedite the completion of the law because it is directly related to people’s lives, and in a manner commensurate with the government program that was voted on in the House of Representatives.

The First Deputy indicated that the draft federal budget law for the three years would facilitate the implementation of projects, executive and development plans, and the development of infrastructure services, in addition to upgrading the private sector. / End
