The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, said today, Sunday, that earthquakes, hurricanes, epidemics, and wars have increased due to sins, anomalies, subservience, and corruption, confirmed that the scourge has spread.

Al-Sadr wrote in his tweet on the “X” platform: As long as the affliction on the people of the Earth continues, this means that God’s wrath on the people of the Earth is still continuing. So fear God, and seek forgiveness, fasting, and charity, and increase your acts of obedience. The affliction has spread.. scourge has spread. But it is required of Muslims more than others… and of Iraqis in a severe way, before a day comes when it will not be stopped.”
