Head of the Iraqi Turkmen bloc, MP Arshad al-Salihi, refused to vacate the joint operations headquarters in Kirkuk and to involve representatives of its components in any agreement or discussion of the Kirkuk issue, stressing the importance of achieving partnership and guaranteeing the rights of the Turkmen in Kirkuk.

He said during a speech in the House of Representatives, after the events of Kirkuk and his address to the Presidency of the House of Representatives about Kirkuk, legislative and executive solutions were put forward to overcome the crisis.
