Baghdad Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed in a phone call with US President Joe Biden the situation in the Gaza Strip, and he confirmed during the call that Egypt will not allow the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza to Egyptian territory.

The Egyptian Presidency said in a statement on Sunday that the two Presidents agreed on the importance of intensifying efforts to increase aid in a tangible, effective and sustainable manner, in quantities that meet the humanitarian needs of the people of the Gaza Strip who are subjected to enormous suffering.

They affirmed their commitment to working together to create conditions to achieve lasting and sustainable peace in the Middle East, including the establishment of a Palestinian state.
