Algerian Pres. allocates USD 1 bln to aid developmental projects in Africa

ALGERIA, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced Sunday a USD one billion to support developmental projects in Africa.

The announcement came during Tebboune’s speech read on his behalf by Algerian Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane on the 2nd day of The 36th Ordinary Summit of the African Union.

The funds are intended to help developmental projects, especially those, which will contribute, to advancing development in the African continent, he concluded.

The 36th Ordinary Summit of the African Union started yesterday in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa with the participation of 34 African presidents and 51 African delegations.
