Baghdad – Israeli Army Radio reported that army forces entered the Gaza Strip on Thursday night, launching a series of attacks on Hamas targets.

It noted that this incursion was the largest since the launch of Operation Iron Swords.

The Israeli army spokesman stated, “Army forces led by Givati carried out a concentrated raid operation last night in the northern Gaza Strip area using tanks, as part of preparing conditions in the area in preparation for the subsequent stages of the fighting.”
