Anti-terrorism: 322 Detainees Benefit from Moussalaha Program


Rabat – Moussalaha Center for the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners convicted of extremism and terrorism launched, on Monday at the local prison of Salé, the 14th edition of the ‘Moussalaha’ (Reconciliation) program which will benefit 21 detainees, bringing the overall number of beneficiaries to 322 since its launch in 2017.

Twenty-two inmates took part in the 13th edition of this program, which ended on Monday at the local prison of Salé, the Moussalaha center notes in a press release.

These two editions were organized by the Moussalaha Center, created under a partnership agreement signed last November by all partners in implementation of the High Directives of HM King Mohammed VI aimed at building on experiences and good practices accumulated under this program.

This ceremony was attended by General Delegate for Penitentiary Administration and Rehabilitation, Mohamed Salah Tamek, Secretary General of the Rabita Mohammadia of the Ulema, Ahmed Abbadi, President of the National Human Rights Coun
cil, Amina Bouayach, the coordinator of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Inmates, as well as representatives of institutional partners, experts and trainers.
