Arab justice ministers meet in Morocco

– The 38th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice kicked off on Thursday in the Moroccan city of Ifran, with the participation of Kuwait.

Moroccan Minister of Justice Abdullatif Wahbi stated in the opening speech that the council’s session aims to study and discuss various issues of common interest and ways to develop and strengthen Arab cooperation to face challenges especially in the field of combating organized crime and terrorism.

He stressed that teamwork is important in order to create a legal space that aims to consolidate Arab gains and achievements, as well as develop cooperation to serve the interest of Arab countries.

Algerian Deputy Minister of Justice Mohammad Ragaz, whose country hosted the 37th session of the council, said in a statement that this session is an opportunity for Arabs to unite and face common challenges, adding that the topics discussed in this session reflects the council’s priorities.

This session will discuss various topics such as terrorism, and how to strengthen Arab and international cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, along with other issues
