Asian Shooting Confederation Pres. honors Kuwait Nat’l Olympic team

Asian Shooting Confederation President and Honorary President of Kuwait Shooting Federation Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah on Tuesday honored Kuwait National Olympic Shooting team for their achievements in Tokyo 2020 Olympics after skeet shooter Abdullah Al-Rashidi’s bronze medal win.

In a statement after the ceremony at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex, the president said that Kuwait’s continuous achievements are the results of hard work of the managerial and technical teams of the Kuwaiti Federation.

He also praised Kuwait’s leadership for their support towards athletes, especially the efforts of Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, and Director General of Public Authority for Sport (PAS) Hamoud Felaiteh in providing all means of help to the athletes.

On his part, President of the Kuwaiti and Arab shooting bodies Duaij Al-Otaibi affirmed that Kuwait Shooting Federation will continue its hard work for more achievements in the future.
