Kuwait’s national soccer team were beaten by Australia 3-0 on Thursday, as part of the 7th round of the second phase of the FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers The Australian team scored in the first minute of the match, which was held on Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium and netted the second in the 24th minute.

In the second half, Kuwaiti players rebounded, but failed to score after squandering some opportunities.

Australia now tops Group B with 15 points followed by Kuwait and Jordan respectively with goal difference.
