Boursa Kuwait on Sunday announced net profits of KD 15.1 million (around USD 45.7 million) for the nine months ended on September 30, an increase of 29.2 percent, compared wot KD 11.7 million (USD 35.4 million) in the same period in 2021.

Boursa Kuwait Chairman Hamad Al-Humaidhi said in a press statement that the company’s strategy to develop the market as per international standards is continuing to play off, adding that the bourse plays an essential role in supporting the national economy and the country’s national development plan.

He noted that these efforts have helped consolidate the company’s reputation as a leading stock exchange in the Middle East and a key contributor to the country’s transformation into a global investment destination during this tumultuous period which is marked by geopolitical tensions.

He boasted that Boursa Kuwait has developed into a pioneering regional company that adheres to the best-in-class international standards and practices, making it one of the standout companies in the country today.
