Cabinet briefed on Premier’s participation in World Governments Summit

The Kuwaiti Cabinet Monday was briefed on His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah participation in the World Summit of Governments hosted by Dubai.

This came in the weekly meeting, led by His Highness the Prime Minister at the Sief Palace, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Barrak Al-Shaitan.

Moreover, Minister of Social Affairs and Community Development and Minister of State for Women and Childhood Affairs, Mai Al-Baghli briefed the cabinet on the success of the national campaign (Kuwait by your side) for relief and assistance to those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkiye and Syria.

She also noted that the final revenues of the national campaign (Kuwait by your side) amounted to about KD 20,700,000 million, which was organized through a live broadcast on the State of Kuwait TV, praising everyone’s contribution to this national campaign.

Minister Al-Baghli touched on her visit to the earthquake-affected areas in Turkiye to supervise the relief campaign in which Kuwaiti charities participated.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Enterprises Company, Mohammad Al-Saqqaf, and the CEO of the company, Fadel Al-Dosari, presented the latest developments in the waterfront redevelopment project.

Kuwait’s Cabinet extended its congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the anniversary of its Founding Day and noted Saudi Arabia’s progress and development, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and supported by the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud
