CBK announces new bonds, tawarruq valued at KD 240 mln

– The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) issued CBK Bonds and related Tawarruq worth KD 240 million (some USD 792 million) payable in three months.
The new securities have return rate of 2.625 percent, according to a CBK statement received by KUNA on Monday.
On August 8, the Bank issue bonds and tawarruq valued at KD 160 million (nearly USD 526 million), with a three-month term and return rate of 2.375 percent.
