Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah on Thursday decorated a number of officers in Kuwait army with the new Lieutenant rank and new post in the army, in implementation of an Amiri decree issued recently.

On this occasion, the minister congratulated the newly decorated officers for gaining the trust of His Highness the Amir and the Armed Forces Supreme Commander Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Kuwait Army Chief of Staff Lieut. Gen. Khaled Saleh Al-Sabah, Defense Ministry Undersecretary Delegate Sheikh Fahad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and several senior officers attended the decoration ceremony.
