Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Sabah Friday sent a cable of condolences to British Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace on the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II.

In the cable, Sheikh Talal, also Acting Minister of Interior, expressed sincere sympathy to the British minster and people, lauding the Queen’s stances towards Kuwait and its fair causes, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The UK and the whole world have lost one of the most effective and outstanding dignitaries on local and international levels for her efforts and responsibilities assumed during her reign, it noted.

Sheikh Talal also wished utmost success to King Charles III; the upcoming monarch, in buttressing prosperity and progress of his country, according to the statement.
