Dhaman signs USD 101 mln agreements with Saudi EXIM Bank

The Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (DHAMAN) signed USD 101 million worth of agreements with Saudi Export-Import (Saudi EXIM) Bank. These agreements are a part of the bank’s efforts to provide financing and insurance products to Saudi exporters and increase Saudi products competitiveness in foreign markets, Dhaman said in release, a copy of which was obtained by KUNA.

The agreements were signed by the CEO of Saudi EXIM Bank Eng. Saad Al-Khalb, and of Dhaman Director General Abdullah Ahmed Al-Sabeeh.

The agreements fall within a series agreements concluded by the bank to enhance cooperation with financial and credit expertise institutes and form partnerships with specialized institutions that supports various non-oil sectors in the region, Stated Al-Khalb.

The Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation “Dhaman” is a multilateral institution for insurance against commercial and political risks. It was established in 1974 and its headquarters is in Kuwait.
