The consultant in industrial development and investment, Amer Al-Jawahiri, confirmed: The most successful investment lies in the primary oil and gas resources.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: It is not possible to rely on current investment projects to find an additional resource for the budget, which is far from investing in the energy sector, in both its oil and gas sectors.

He added: Oil and gas projects are the best and most successful investment for continuous additional revenues that always cover the accumulated deficit, which has reached large numbers.

He explained: The affluence of revenues must be invested and there should be flexibility in them, not in salaries and the operational budget, but by moving to invest in primary resources in oil and gas in particular in order to increase revenues.
