The Ministry of Electricity announced the disconnection of the power transmission line (Musayyib – Alexandria, 132 kV), after an act of sabotage.

It said in a statement that the obscurantists are trying once again to tamper with the transmission lines, especially the vital ones and the link among the governorates, as the system recorded a disconnection of the power transmission line (Musayyib – Alexandria, 132 kV).

It explained that after isolating the line from both sides and conducting on-site inspection, it became clear that there was a (deliberate fire extinguisher), which is throwing wires with two handles on the transmission line in an attempt to touch its poles and extinguish it from both sides.

The intentional cause of the high-pressure wires of the line was removed without causing damage, and safety procedures, protection devices and handling devices were emphasized, and the safety of energy access to citizens was taken into account without causing any damage.
