– Kuwaiti Environment Public Authority launched a special program to measure water quality near Qaruh Island on Monday, during a visit by a team from the Water Quality Monitoring Department in cooperation with the Coast Guard General Administration.

EPA said in a press release, the program aims to study the levels and spread of the natural oil spill near the island and the extent of this impact on the environment in the region.

The EPA was established in 1995.
