Saudi Ambassador in Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad stressed Wednesday that theFfounding Day symbolizes deep-rooted and strong relations between Saudi people and their leadership, and reflects epics made through the years to bring the Kingdom to its current international standing.

In a press statement, Ambassador Saad said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since its establishment in 1727, is based on applying the principles of true Islam, establishing security and stability, and honoring the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, including pilgrims and Umrah performers.

He referred to the Saudi Crown Prince’s vision to make a comprehensive development that resulted in many mega projects such as (Diriyah Gate project), which aims to develop the historic, heritage, and cultural sites, that were recognized recently by the UNESCO.

In 2022, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order to recognize February 22nd of every year as the kingdom’s Founding Day.
