GCC Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi stressed the importance of the strategic partnership with the European Union.

In a statement Monday, the GCC Secretariat that this came during a meeting between Al-Budaiwi and EU Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Patrick Simonnet.

During the meeting, they discussed the progress of work in implementing the strategic partnership between the two sides and the joint work program for 2022-2027, the secretariat added.
