GCC officials discuss WHO air quality standards, environmental topics

Undersecretaries of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) environment affairs ministries on Sunday discussed WHO air quality standards in the GCC states and environmental portal, Environment Public Authority said in a statement.

The conferees also focused on the topics on their agenda topped with the GCC Supreme Council’s resolutions during its 42nd meeting and the strategic plan of the ministerial environment affairs committee, and its sub committees as well as projects, it added.

At the end of the virtual gathering, the recommendations were referred to the environment affairs ministers, it pointed out.

The Kuwaiti delegation was chaired by Chairman of Board of Directors and Director General of EPA Sheikh Abdullah Ahmad Al-Humoud Al-Sabah.
