GCC Secretary General Commends Gulf-German Relations

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Albudaiwi, emphasized the significance of the GCC-German relations, highlighting numerous opportunities and areas where both sides can further strengthen and develop their relationship. This includes intensifying multilateral efforts, fostering Gulf-German cooperation across various fields, and working together to ensure regional security, stability, and prosperity that serve mutual interests.

Albudaiwi made these remarks during his meeting with the Foreign and Security Policy Adviser to the German Chancellor, Jens Ploetner, in Berlin, the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. The meeting covered several topics, with a focus on reviewing the robust Gulf-German relations and exploring ways to enhance efforts in establishing a foundation for peace through cooperation and joint coordination.

Additionally, they discussed matters of shared concern and stayed updated on the latest developments in regional and international arenas. Albudaiwi emphasized that the Cooperation Council aims to strengthen and intensify cooperation with friendly countries through such meetings, exchanging perspectives on various issues of mutual interest. He further noted that the GCC countries share close relations and common interests with the Federal Republic of Germany across multiple levels.
