Hassan II Mosque an icon in the Atlantic waters

The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca depicts Arab, Islamic and Andalusian construction arts.

It was built in the Atlantic waters on a 20,000 square meters plot, with a 210-m high minaret.

The mosque that was opened in 1993 lures tourists. In Ramadan, thousands of devotees gather in the mosque for worship and prayers
