The Honduras Ambassador to Kuwait, Luis Alonso Galeano, on Wednesday lauded the country’s distinctive efforts in the humanitarian and relief sectors.

Galeano, in remarks to KUNA he made as he emerged from a meeting with Chairperson of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, said Kuwait has occupied a high status at this level due to its humanitarian contributions for countries afflicted with natural catastrophes and humanitarian crises.

The envoy expressed gratitude to the KRCS for dispatching aid to his country in the aftermath of Iota cyclone, last year.
