The Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Dr. Salem bin Mohammad Al-Malik met here yesterday with the Director General of UNESCO’s Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE) Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Medaires.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of improving the quality of education, consolidating the values of coexistence, and promoting education and human values.

The meeting also discussed proposals for programs and projects for partnership between the two sides, especially in the field of anticipating the future of education, promoting scientific research, building the capacities of personnel in the education sectors, and cooperating in organizing international forums to discuss developments in education.

The two sides also agreed to continue coordination to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement, based on specific programs and projects that achieve positive impact
