At sunset during the holy month of Ramadan, people, especially children, throng Qasr Naif in Kuwait City to watch the firing of Iftar canon to signal the time for fast-breaking, a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Kuwait has been maintaining this long-lasting tradition since the country’s seventh ruler, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah.
