Representing His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Information and State Minister for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi left for the United Arab Emirates on Friday to open Kuwait pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Kuwaiti delegation includes senior officials from the Ministry of Information, and representatives of local dailies, TV and radio stations, and non-government organizations.

The six-month Expo opened last night under the theme of “explore the power of connections in shaping our world,” with representatives of 192 countries attending.

Themed “New Kuwait — new opportunities for sustainability,” Kuwait pavilion is located at the Sustainability District of the Expo; it features the various aspects of Kuwait’s cultural identity and humanitarian achievements over history.
