International Kitchen decides to stop its activities in Gaza after its workers were targeted


Gaza – Together – The World Central Kitchen organization announced its decision to stop its activities in the Gaza Strip after seven of its employees were killed in an Israeli raid on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

She said in a statement: ‘We will temporarily and immediately stop our operations in the region and will make decisions about the future of our work soon.’

It confirmed that seven of its employees were killed in an Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip, while the team was leaving a warehouse in Deir al-Balah, despite coordination with the Israeli army.

She added: “Our team was moving in a demilitarized zone with two armored cars and another vehicle bearing our logo.”

She continued: “The attack is not only on our organization, but also on humanitarian organizations, and the seven dead are from Australia, Poland, and Britain, and they have dual nationalities from America, Canada, and Palestine.”

The International Kitchen oversees the feeding of hundreds of thousands in Gaza every day, and i
s exclusively responsible for receiving ships via the floating dock south of Gaza City.
