Iraq and France discussed ways of military cooperation between the two countries in the field of training.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that the commander of the Land Forces, Lieutenant General Qassem Muhammad Salih al-Muhammadi, received at the command headquarters the French military attaché in Iraq, Colonel Tirufaru Lasivan Deva, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, which was attended by a number of staff officers in the Land Forces Command, according to the statement, they exchanged views and discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of training and exchanging experiences between the Iraqi and French armies .
